Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling has tweeted information that owners of Modern Warfare 2 for the PlayStation 3 and PC have been waiting for. The game’s first DLC map pack, known as the Stimulus Package, will finally be coming to both systems.
Originally an early Xbox 360 exclusive, the five map DLC bundle will be arriving to North American PS3 owners on May 4. Other PS3 owners worldwide will get the DLC on May 5, with the PC version seeing a worldwide release on May 4.
The Stimulus Package has been so successful on the Xbox 360 that Activision announced yesterday that it had broken an Xbox Live record for downloads with 1 million in the first 24 hours and 2.5 million in the first week. It released for the Microsoft console on March 30.
