MS works with BBC to give PAL gamers DLC

Xbox LiveDid I just write a poem?

Whatever the headline, it appears Microsoft is taking the recent pleas to Sony by European gamers as an opportunity to capitalize on that market. The idea seems to be, ‘customers want PSN content, so let’s give them XBL content, instead.’

Microsoft has been talking with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in an effort to include their programming – including high-definition content – on Xbox Live.

Ross Honey, senior director for media at Microsoft’s content and partner strategy group, confirmed that the negotioations are indeed in progress, stating, "We are working diligently on multiple fronts to make it happen." He also added, "The BBC is a great content provider."

I guess he’s hoping someone important at the BBC would catch wind of that last statement. Do brownie points work like MS points?
