MTV and Microsoft partner up for E3 Natal reveal

MTV and Microsoft will reveal Project Natal to the world at E3.

E3 is only a month away, and Microsoft is planning on making a huge splash with Project Natal. The console maker has announced a partnership with MTV Networks to air the E3 presentation "The World Premiere of ‘Project Natal’ for Xbox 360" experience, imagined by Cirque de Soleil on their stations.

"We look forward to making entertainment history again at E3 Expo 2010 and can’t think of a better partner than MTV Networks to exclusively share our news, experiences and Cirque du Soleil’s amazing creativity with an entirely new audience," said Don Mattrick, senior vice president, Interactive Entertainment Business, Entertainment and Devices Division at Microsoft.

The presentation will air live and commercial free on MTV at 3:30pm EDT on Tuesday, June 15 and then aired later at 9pm the same day on Nick at Nite, mtvU, MTV Hits and Logo.

"Project Natal is one of the most exciting new product launches of the year, and MTV Networks is the perfect partner to bring this one-of-a-kind event from Xbox and Cirque du Soleil to its viewers and passionate gamers and all across the country," said Rich Eigendorff, chief operating officer of MTV Networks.

Anyone looking to catch the live broadcast of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Media Briefing will need to tune in to Spike TV, as the station has been given exclusive rights to air the event. It will air at 1:30pm on Monday, June 14 and will feature news on Natal and Xbox Live as well as new game reveals and demos for Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3, and Fable III.

GameTrailers.com will also stream both the Media Briefing and Project Natal reveal event live on its website.
