New Assassin’s Creed III trailer throws a Tea Party

Find out about the Boston Tea Party in the new trailer.

The Boston Tea Party is known far and wide as the catalyst that set off the American Revolution, where colonists sneaked into Boston Harbor dressed as Native Americans and dumped tons of British tea into the water below. But according to a new Assassin’s Creed III trailer, that’s not the only revolution the famous event kicked off.

In the trailer, the Boston Tea Party is described as history remembers it by a male narrator. After finishing the retelling, the narrator claimed that the American Revolution is “the revolution you were told about.”

“But if you stay a while, I shall tell you of another revolution,” the man continued. “The one that mattered.”

Assassin’s Creed III will release on October 30 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a Wii U edition arrive on November 18 and the PC getting it last on November 23. You can view the “Boston Tea Party Trailer” in full below.
