New Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC announced

Less than a month after its release, Square Enix announced today in a press release that fans of Deus Ex: Human Revolution can expect new DLC to be available in October.

"The Missing Link" will reveal what happened to lead character Adam Jensen during his three day disappearance in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Throughout the game, Adam, who had his augmentations disabled after being tortured by Belltower agents, will have to find his way off a ship bound for an unknown destination.

David Anfossi, producer of Deus Ex: Human Revolution at Eidos-Montreal thinks the new DLC adds another layer to the story rich game, saying, "Gamers will be able to experience a vulnerable side of Adam like never before, which gives the overall game a whole new dimension. ‘The Missing Link’ propels players into compelling gameplay, beginning with Adam being temporarily stripped of his use of augmentations; new, visually stunning environments; and the continuation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s conspiracy-rich story.”

"The Missing Link" will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC via Steam and OnLive. Keep checking GamerNode for any new information.
