Nintendo president Satoru Iwata recently revealed to Japanese newspaper the Asahi Shimbun that the company aims to release its next Legend of Zelda game before the end of 2010.
So far, all that is known about the next Zelda entry is that it will use an art style similar to Twilight Princess and will make use of the WiMotion Plus. According to previously released concept art, the game will feature a character who may or may not be the living incarnation of the Master Sword (pictured above).
Little else was said about the title in an interview that focused on the 2010 goals for Nintendo Co., Ltd. Increasing DS WiFi hotspots and releasing the Wii Vitality Sensor were both high on the executive’s to-do list.
