Newly Announced PC Games, Sequels, and Expansions: 4/1 to 4/7

THQ confirmed the news of a Company of Heroes sequel with the announcement of Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts . The game will feature DirectX 10 support but won’t be a Vista exclusive. The game will also feature two new armies — the British 2nd and the German Panzer Elite — and new multiplayer modes. More information can be read here.

Aquadelic has been revealed courtesy of Czech developer Hammerware. The boat racing game will include a combat and a free ride mode, among other things. The game will be hitting stores in Q3 2007.

Frogwares announced its next title — Dracula – Origin. The gothic horror/adventure game will have players don the trench coat of Professor Van Helsing as he chases Dracula. Locations include London, Egypt, Austria and Transylvania.

Cenega Publishing revealed its plans to publish and subsequently announced NecroVisioN, an upcoming FPS that’ll utilize People Can Fly’s Painkiller engine. The game will take place in a variety of locations including WWI and various underground lairs of vampires and demons.

The only entry for newly revealed PC sequels and expansion is Ubisoft’s Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East, a standalone "conclusion" (expansion) of the Heroes V saga. The game will be developed again by Nival Interactive and will be released for PC in fall 2007. Features include a new orc faction, new campaign with 10 new multiplayer and 5 single player maps, a new upgrade level, and more extra content.
