Newly announced PC games, sequels, and expansions: 4/29 to 5/5

This past week has been a bit slow regarding revelations of new PC games or expansions, but these two listings are pretty major on their own-right. Ubisoft is big on its Splinter Cell franchise and a new expansion

According to Magaza Pelaaja, a Finnish magazine, the next Splinter Cell game is titled Splinter Cell: Conviction. This time around, the stealth action game will be taking place primarily in daylight and Sam will be back trying to save his friend and Intel officer Anna Grimsdottir. The game is expected to be released by the end of this year for the PC and Xbox 360–other platforms will be announced later on.

Paradox Interactive announced the first expansion pack for its RTS, Europa Universalis III, subtitled Napoleon’s Ambition. The expansion will feature an extended timeline to 1820, new leaders, rulers, advisor wars, countries, hundreds of new events, an improved interface, more game play options, and an enhanced trading system. The new gamepack will be out by the end of August.
