Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, will be switching roles and act as a sales rep this November, pledging to personally hand out the first Wiis in the United States.
Fils-Aime said, "Those consumers, the core gamer, are very important to us. And you know what? I’ll be at a store in the New York area, where they will camp out and I will be handing out some Wiis that very first minute that [are] available for purchase."
While there is no mention of where the debut will occur, the most likely location will be at the Nintendo World Store in Manhattan’s Rockefeller Center.
