Oblivion, F.E.A.R. and Sonic Delayed for PS3

Late last month, Sony announced the 21 games slated to debut alongside the PS3 on November 17 (story). Today news has broken that three of those games have been delayed: Bethesda Softwork’s RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Day 1 Studios’ port of Monolith Production’s FPS F.E.A.R. and Sonic Team’s Sonic the Hedgehog.

Oblivion is now slated for release in early 2007, with Sonic likely to head to stores a few weeks late sometime in December. Sega will be taking the extra time to incorporate downloadable content, which will be available once the game is released. Lastly, F.E.A.R. will be in the shadows until sometime in February 2007, if listings on major game retailers websites are to be believed.

Representatives from each studio could not be reached for comment.
