Play an award winning 87K Sumo wrestling game

In our never ending search for simple video games to prevent us from working, GamerNode has unearthed yet another time burning game. This little title clocks in at only 87k and was programmed by Peter Sotesz. He entered his game in the Breakpoint 2007 96K demo competition and came in first with his submission, Sumotori Dreams.

The concept is simple but interesting. The venue is a Sumo wrestling arena, and you face off against a computer opponent. Or, in the true spirit of wasting time and getting a minimal amount of work done, you can challenge a friend to play with you while each of you man the opposite ends of the keyboard.

The game’s rules are just like those in real Sumo wrestling. First one to get knocked out of the ring or falls to the ground first is the loser. Check out a gameplay video here. Scroll down that same page to download it and try it our for yourself.
