Resident Evil 6 gets Comic-Con trailer

This weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con saw a new, playable build of the upcoming Resident Evil 6, as well as a panel with the Resident Evil 6 developers. It also played host to an all-new trailer, showing off Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield’s individual predicaments. Naturally, these predicaments involve monsters mutated to nightmarish degrees. It wouldn’t be a Resident Evil game without it, really.

Resident Evil 6‘s story will take place from the perspectives of multiple characters, which will occasionally overlap with one another, with a unique twist on cooperative play taking full advantage of the segmented narrative structure. If you’re interested in finding out more about Resident Evil 6‘s new style of survival horror co-op, take a stroll over to our E3 preview.

Resident Evil 6 will be hitting stores on October 2 for Xbox 360 and PS3, with the PC launch coming a little later.
