Skate demo rescheduled for August 21st

skateIt hasn’t exactly been a smooth ride for EA’s skate demo so far, but hopefully by next week gamers will be grinding all over the place.

Originally planned to be available on Xbox Live Marketplace on August 15th, the demo for the upcoming skateboarding game was unfortunately delayed due to technical issues. As of yestertday, though, it has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, August 21st.

The delay occurred in the first place because of a feature brand new to Xbox Live demos. Skaters will be able to record their own personal skate videos and, in YouTube-esque fashion, upload them to EA’s skate website for other users to admire.

The full game will be released on September 12th, serving up a dual-analog, free-roaming festival of flip tricks…without the word "hawk" in the title.
