Skyrim goes live action in new trailer

Skyrim

Live-action trailers appear to be all the rage for video games as of late, and Bethesda Softworks is keeping the trend going with the newest trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The new trailer shows a peaceful town being intruded upon by a dragon as the entire populace flees in terror, guards included. Luckily for them, Dovahkiin is in the village, and he does not suffer dragons.

Skyrim is the second game in the past week to use a live-action trailer to promote itself. Electronic Arts and DICE released one for Battlefield 3 that also blended in gameplay just two days ago.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is rated M for Mature and set for a November 11 release date on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
