Sony offering free PS3s with Bravia HDTVs

braviaSo you’ve always wanted a PS3 and you think the price seems to be just right now? There’s a deal going on in Australia that will sweeten the deal even more if you’ve been also lusting after Sony’s top of the line HDTV–the Bravia. If you purchase a 1080 Bravia between December 21 and January 28, Sony will throw in a PS3 for free.

At the moment, the offer seems to be good only for the Aussies down under, but this promotion could very well be extended to other regions of the world. For those on the hunt for both of these items, it’ll be a welcome deal indeed.

Graham Keogh, Sony’s Australia senior product manager said, "Our Full HD BRAVIA range shows the phenomenal detail possible with high definition, and what better way to experience this than through the Blu-ray-enabled PS3."

The bundling of the PS3 with Sony’s flagship Bravia HDTV is not only sending a message to consumers that it is aggressively seeking more market share in the game console business, but is also announcing that the two products are what Sony believes to be the best in their respective fields.
