The Dishwasher: stylish new XBLA game

Some footage recently surfaced of an Xbox Live arcade game called The Dishwasher. The game was the winner of the XNA Dream, Build, Play competition. From a vat of indie competition this game rose to the top and for good reason. This is probably the most stylish game to be released on Xbox Live Arcade since Geometry Wars. From the glimpse we get here, it seems that the design theory behind The Dishwasher was to take all of they high flying intensity found in 3D action games like Ninja Gaiden and making it simplified into the 2D landscape.
