This week's releases: 9/27 – 10/3

Get ready to slaughter a whole lot of zombies.

It’s a fine week to go zombie killing, as Capcom’s highly-anticipated undead-fest known as Dead Rising 2 arrives on Tuesday for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Players will control Chuck Greene as he slaughters wave upon waves of ghouls in Vegas-themed Fortune City in the hopes of saving his daughter from the deadly zombie virus. Dead Rising 2 isn’t the only high-profile title hitting consoles this week, as FIFA 11 will make soccer fans happy for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and the Guitar Hero franchise gets another installment in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for the Nintendo Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360. DS and PSP owners will be getting a dose of FIFA 11 as well, while PC gamers will also get their hands on Final Fantasy XIV.
