UK Chart: Pokemen Black and White dominate

In their opening week the twin-titles Pokemen Black and Pokemen White have dominated the UK chart, taking second and first position respectively.

Pokemon White proved the more popular title gaining 13,000 more sales than Pokemen Black, making it the second-fastest selling DS title to date.

EA’s Fight Night Champion entered the UK chart at number three. Bulletstorm — after a disappointing loss to Killzone 3 last week — managed to save some face only dropping one place to come in fourth.

After a solid debut, Sony’s Killzone 3 suffered a bad week with its sales figures slipping nearly 60 percent, dropping it into fifth place.

Seeming to rise and fall in the UK chart as regularly as the morning tide, Call of Duty: Black Ops has for the first time failed to break into the top five, coming in sixth overall.

The eternally popular Just Dance 2 and FIFA 11 continue to dominate the lower echelons of the chart coming in seventh and eighth respectively.

Despite a 59 percent loss in sales, EA’s Dead Space 2 managed to survive another week in the top 10 scraping in at number nine.

Wii Party remains the only Wii exclusive game in the top 10, dropping one place to come in tenth.
