Uwe Boll Boils, Challenges Critics to Boxing Match

Movie Director Uwe Boll has decided to take things into his own hands in dealing with the enormous ranks of naysayers by challenging them to a fight. Really.

In a press release entitled, "Uwe Boll challenges his critics to ‘Put up or shut up!’" he says, "I’m fed up with people slamming my films on the Internet without see[ing] them. Many journalists make value judgments on my films based on the opinions of one or two thousand Internet voices.”

Mr. Boll states that towards the end of filming his next project, “Postal,” that he will provide lodging for the five most outspoken critics and face off with them one at a time, in 10 round matches. "As a guest of [mine] they will be given the chance to be an extra/stand-in in Postal and have the opportunity to put on boxing gloves and enter a BOXING RING to fight [me]. Each critic will have the opportunity to bring down Uwe in a 10-bout match. There will be five matches planned over the last two days of the movie. Certain scenes from these boxing matches will become part of the Postal movie. All five fights will be televised on the Internet and will be covered by international press."

However, before every critic out there starts to train for the match, there are certain rules to be followed if you want to bash Boll. You must be a male that weighs between 140-190 pounds and have posted two extremely negative articles of Mr. Boll on the internet or in the press. No entries from 2006 will be considered. If you feel that you have the fortitude to not only sit through Uwe,s movies, but also possess the mettle to knock his block off, you can send your documents of derision to info@boll-kg.de for consideration.

GamerNode will not be applying due to our heavy workload and long list of other matches which we have already been committed to this year with WWE and the Ultimate Fighter octagon matches. We hope Uwe understands.
