Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood gets free DLC

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Ubisoft seems to be in a giving mood in light of the holidays. Today they launched Animus Project Update 1.0 for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. This update adds a new multiplayer game mode called "Advanced Alliance" (essentially a more difficult version of the Alliance Mode) and a new map, Mont Saint-Michel. It will run you the more than affordable price of $0.

Ubisoft isn’t done with free DLC though. Animus Project Update 2.0 will be coming in January for that same price and will include the Pienza map and a team-based multiplayer mode titled "Chest Capture."

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has received rave reviews, another game is on the way next year, and now Ubisoft is releasing free DLC. Looks like this is a great time to be an Assassin’s Creed fan.

My first experience playing a video game blew me away. The fact that Super Metroid was that game certainly helped. So I like to think Samus put me on the path to video games. Well, I guess my parents buying the SNES had a little something to do with it. Ever since then my passion for video games has grown. When I found that I could put words together into a coherent sentence, videogame journalism was a natural interest. Now I spend a large majority of my time either playing video games or writing about them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
