BioShock Infinte dries off and takes flight

Bioshock Infinte

Irrational Games has lifted the veil on it’s new mysterious project, and it looks like BioShock in the sky. It also proves that Irrational Games knows how to craft a damn fine trailer.

There aren’t too many details, but there are a few sure facts. Ken Levine, creative director of the original BioShock, is thankfully involved in BioShock Infinite. The game takes place in the floating city of Columbia well before the time frame of BioShock and BioShock 2. Whether or not all the BioShock games are related in the narrative sense, is still undetermined. BioShock Infinite looks like it will share many themes with the underwater city of Rapture, but we will have to wait and play to find out if the games are all actually connected. We also know that the game will involve roses and giant robot hands.

BioShock Infinite will be released in 2012 and will be available on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
