Club Nintendo introduces downloadable game rewards

Club Nintendo

In an effort to revamp Club Nintendo, the famed videogame company has decided to introduce more noteworthy rewards for the loyalty program.

A press release earlier today revealed that Club Nintendo members can now submit their coins for downloadable Wii and 3DS games. Starting today, Super Mario Kart and 3D Classics: Xevious will be available for 100 coins, while Fluidity and Mario vs. Donkey Kong will cost 150 coins.

Those downloadable game deals will last until January 10, 2012. A new batch of offers will be announced next month, and Nintendo will take customer feedback into consideration when deciding what games to choose next.

Fans can look for more information on the newly designed Club Nintendo website.

My first experience playing a video game blew me away. The fact that Super Metroid was that game certainly helped. So I like to think Samus put me on the path to video games. Well, I guess my parents buying the SNES had a little something to do with it. Ever since then my passion for video games has grown. When I found that I could put words together into a coherent sentence, videogame journalism was a natural interest. Now I spend a large majority of my time either playing video games or writing about them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
