Max Payne 3 special edition revealed

Max Payne 3 Special Edition

The release of Max Payne 3 is just months away now, and fans wanting as much extra content as possible are in for some good news.

In a press release earlier today, Rockstar revealed that a special edition of Max Payne 3 is going to be released. This $100 version will include the game, a 10″ Max Payne statue, art prints, a bullet keychain, multiplayer character and weapon packs, and the official soundtrack.

The multiplayer character pack will include fan favorites from the first two games such as Mona Sax and Vladimir Lem. The weapon pack will consist of the Hammerhead Auto Shotgun, G9 Grenade Launcher and Molotov cocktail.

The special edition version is actually available for pre-order right now, but the offer will only last until January 15. In addition, the availability is described as “while supplies last.” So prospective buyers may want to pre-order the game as soon as possible.

Max Payne 3 is set to come out for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in March 2012.

My first experience playing a video game blew me away. The fact that Super Metroid was that game certainly helped. So I like to think Samus put me on the path to video games. Well, I guess my parents buying the SNES had a little something to do with it. Ever since then my passion for video games has grown. When I found that I could put words together into a coherent sentence, videogame journalism was a natural interest. Now I spend a large majority of my time either playing video games or writing about them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
