Ninja Gaiden 3 trailer released

Fresh out of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco comes the first teaser trailer for Ninja Gaiden 3.

The game doesn’t have an official title yet, but with the slogan "Unmask E3 2011", it seems Tecmo has more in store come June.

In the trailer, viewers take the perspective of an enemy or a creature or something that a very bloody Ryu appears to be stabbing. There isn’t a lot of information given, but it is worth noting the demonic hue of Ryu’s eyes that seems to last for a moment or two.

The game will take place in Hell as Ryu tries to battle his way out. In the past, the Ninja Gaiden games have been known for the crushing difficulty. However, Tecmo has suggested that it wants bring new fans into the fold, which may mean an easier mode with this new installment.

Regardless of difficulty, the trailer has Team Ninja written all over it.
