It’s a difficult urge to resist. I want to place a pun about Portal 2 receiving a release date being a triumph here, or say that the original release date was a lie — but I refuse. Portal 2 will be realeasing February 9th of next year and that is all that needs to be said.
Valve is notorious for pushing back their release dates, so it wasn’t a suprise when the game got pushed back into 2011 a few months ago. It could certainly get pushed again, but there is something about this latest announced date that seems believable. I really don’t think they are telling a fib. This was a victory.
