It’s been a long time since Rockstar Games had last released information on Max Payne 3, but the company finally has something that fans can get at least mildly excited about.
Rockstar posted two brand new screens via its Twitter account, a first for the game in almost two years. Included with the pictures was a simple message: "He’s coming."
The screens don’t depict much, only showing a bearded and bloodied Max in one and a mysterious bald man in a Hawaiian shirt in the other.
Remedy Entertainment, the team behind Max Payne and Max Payne 2, went on to make Alan Wake, leaving Rockstar with the IP rights. Unfortunately the game has been hit with numerous delays and its release status is still up in the air.
Perhaps these new screens mean an announcement will be coming from Rockstar in the near future, possibly for E3 in June…or that could simply be wishful thinking.
