The Sly Collection, a remastered port of the Sly Cooper games, was released on the PS3 last week. Hidden in the game is a real treat for fans of the series. After obtaining all trophies a video is unlocked which teases at the newest game in the series, Sly 4.

Sly 3 was released back in 2005 on the PS2, so it has been a long time coming. And the prospect of a new Sly game on the PS3 is exciting news. But the trailer is lacking in details, including who’s handling developing duties. The series was originally developed by Sucker Punch, who are hard at work on inFamous 2. So there are still questions up in the air, but at least we know that Sly 4 is official now.

My first experience playing a video game blew me away. The fact that Super Metroid was that game certainly helped. So I like to think Samus put me on the path to video games. Well, I guess my parents buying the SNES had a little something to do with it. Ever since then my passion for video games has grown. When I found that I could put words together into a coherent sentence, videogame journalism was a natural interest. Now I spend a large majority of my time either playing video games or writing about them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
