EA Mobile has announced that Tetris will be coming to the PlayStation Network sporting 1080p HD graphics, 5.1 Dolby Sound and six online and local multiplayer modes.
Out of the six modes, three will be exclusive to the PSN version of the game. There aren’t many details about the modes yet, but EA promises they "will be more fun and competitive than anything you’ve seen before."
The original Tetris creator, Alexi Pajitnov, played the PSN version of the game and "absolutely loved it," according to EA.
The game will be available "very early next year." Check out the trailer above.
