Everyone is busy getting hyped for Epic Mickey, but we might all be getting excited about the wrong game. Warren Spector, the man behind Epic Mickey, surprised us all when he announced that his next title would be an adventure-platformer-mario-paint sim starring Mickey last year, but his latest announcement is a source of perhaps even more surprise.
A full 53 days before the Epic Mickey disc is even rotating inside of our Wii consoles, Spector is already telling us to get ready for a sequel. Spector told Official Nintendo Magazine, "I’ve been pretty upfront that I have no interest at all in doing something that’s just a one shot." Don’t count on the now highly possible sequel to follow the adventures of alternate characters though. Spector also said he has no interest in making a game that follows the exploits of Donald Duck. We’ll just have to stick to the Kingdom Hearts series for our Donald Duck fix.
