Lionhead Studios has revealed today via press release that its upcoming title Fable: The Journey, available on October 9, will receive a demo for 360 owners to sample the game.
The studio claims the demo is filled with “heart-pounding action,” but recent media speculation has indicated the possibility of a flop on Lionhead Studios’ part. Time will tell whether the popularity of the previous Fable titles keeps series fans interested in the new concept.
The Kinect-exclusive demo will be available worldwide on September 17. Gamers can also take a look at the game’s new “ViDoc” (more commonly known as a developer diary) entitled “Telling the Tale.” In the video, included below, the Lionhead Studios team discuss the game’s narrative, including the general tone and the new protagonist, Gabriel.
