EA, Maxis Announce The Sims 4

Better brush up on your Simlish, because The Sims are coming back.

EA and Maxis announced The Sims 4 today, due for release on PC and Mac in 2014. The game will be an offline, single-player experience according to EA, proving that the mega-publisher is capable of learning from past mistakes.

No word yet on…well, anything else other than those two points, but we’ll have more as EA and Maxis provide it, presumably at E3 in just over a month from now.

Are we excited about once again simulating life, or has the idea of recreating our own mundane lives in digital form become mundane itself?
