Harmonix Reveals Fantasia: Music Evolved

The gaming industry’s inner Sorceror’s Apprentice is about to be satisfied as Harmonix unveils Fantasia: Music Evolved, a new rhythm game for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Fantasia will utilize the Kinect to allow players to “become the new apprentice of legendary sorcerer Yen Sid, and explore and transform magical worlds by unleashing your musical creativity when Fantasia: Music Evolved releases in 2014.”  The reveal trailer can be seen below.

Playing with music is all well and good, but we’d better be able to fight Chernabog to the tune of Night on Bald Mountain at some point in the game. That was the best scene, after all.

Jason lives and breathes gaming. Legend tells that he taught himself to read using Wheel of Fortune Family Edition on the NES. He's been covering this industry for three years, all with the Node, and you can see his ugly mug once a week on Hot Off The Grill.
