AVerMedia Game Capture HD Review

In today’s age of social gaming, do-it-yourself game video production, and the all-important YouTube, enthusiastic gamers are always clamoring for the next great video game capture solution. AVerMedia, a veteran in the business, aims to simplify the process with the company’s new standalone capture device, the Game Capture HD.

Unlike other game capture devices, the AVerMedia Game Capture HD does not require software, or even a connection to a computer in order to record audio and video in up to 1080p from a user’s game console of choice. That’s because the unit comes complete with an internal 2.5″ SATA hard drive bay and an external USB port for connecting portable hard drives and USB thumb drives.
