Infinity Ward isn't done losing employees

Infinity Ward, developers of the wildly successful Call of Duty series, has apparently lost two more of its employees. (For information on the loss of the two previous employees, click here.) According to Kotaku, Todd Alderman, a lead designer, and Francesco Gigliotti, the lead software engineer, both left the studio last week, as evidenced by their LinkedIn profiles.

Alderman and Gigliotti had a combined tenure of 15 years at Infinity Ward, and were instrumental in the development of the recent blockbuster hit, Modern Warfare 2.  While their reasons for leaving are yet unclear, speculations have been made that they desired to stay with former Infinity Ward heads, West and Zampella, over the studio itself.  Of course this is just speculation, so more details will be forthcoming.

Is Activision losing the reigns on one of its biggest franchise cash cows, or is this just an isolated incident being over-examined due to previous events?  Stay tuned to find out more.
