Way back when Guitar Hero II was released there were rumors of a wireless guitar. All of us wanted to be able to roam wire free, and rock out without being tied down to the ol’ console. No dice there. Since then everyone’s had it in the back of their minds–"If only…"
Activision has heard your pleas and has now confirmed that a standalone wireless guitar is on it’s way by early 2008. A wireless guitar will be available for each platform in the form of the Gison Les Paul. PlayStation 2 owners will get their own Gibson Kramer. Why they get special the treatment is beyond me.
Will this controller be compatible with Rock Band? Who knows. Not that the Fender for Rock Band was good, but they snubbed Guitar Hero with it. Could we see some retaliation?
