Following the leak at ShopTo regarding Akuma and Kevin Sharpe’s comic image leak about Taskmaster, IGN has officially announced that both will be playable characters in the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
Given the trailer, Akuma looks to pack a quick punch replete with all the Hadouken firepower of his rival, Ryu. Taskmaster, on the other hand, seems to focus more on ranged attacks and slower, deliberate movements, which makes sense given his mimic abilities.
Two strong contenders have entered the ring for now, but given then accuracy of these two rumored characters, it’s likely that Galactus will show up in some fashion in MvC3 as well.
