PSone game pulled from PlayStation Network

medievilReports from the UK indicated that some PSone games, which were released for sale on the PlayStation Network late last week, were having problems running on the PS3.

One of the games, MediEvil, has now been pulled from the online store by Sony. This was confirmed in a story by Eurogamer. The bug occurs while playing the third level and crashes the game. Sony has stated that anyone who downloaded the buggy game would be allowed to re-download it free of charge.

No explanation was given as to why the game crashes, but considering all the titles that Sony is trying to make backwards compatible, a few games are bound to slip through the cracks.

Spyro 2 is also under investigation by Sony as several reports of the game having audio problems have also surfaced.

No word has come from Sony as to when MediEvil will be available again on PSN, but has stated that further information will be available at a later time.
