A pair of new VPs head Nintendo's way

Ninty

Nintendo has announced that two new executive vice presidents will be joining the company at their new Silicon Valley offices.

Cammie Dunaway will be the new executive vice president of sales and marketing (which, for those of you who don’t know, is the very same position once held by Reggie Fils-Aime). Dunaway is a former chief marketing officer at Yahoo, and will begin her Nintendo tenure on November 5th.

Said Nintenco COO, Reggie Fils-Aime, "Cammie Dunaway is the perfect choice to drive the next phase of Nintendo’s business. "She is a tremendous leader and will help continue momentum behind both Wii and Nintendo DS.

Nintendo’s own Shigeyuki Takahashi, president of Nintendo Research Inc., will be Nintendo’s new executive vice president, special assignment, and will conduct research pertaining to Nintendo’s business expansion plans. My Takahashi will begin work at his new position on November 1st.

"Shigeyuki Takahashi’s research and knowledge have been–and will continue to be–valuable assets to Nintendo. He will be a great addition to our new office," said CEO Kimishima.

Neither of these new hires will be directly filling positions vacated by Perrin Kaplan, George Harrison, or Beth Llewelyn.
