Nintendo hires two new sales & marketing executives

The Big NNintendo of America announced yesterday that two new executives have been appointed in the company’s sales and marketing division in Redwood City, California.

At the time of this post, former Reebok exec Denise Kaigler is already on the job as the new vice president of Marketing & Corporate Affairs. For those of you who might not remember, those shoes were filled by Perrin Kaplan up until she left the company back in 2007.

The other position goes to Bill van Zyll (what an awesome name), a 15-year veteran from the Whirlpool Corporation. He will begin his service as the director and general manager of Latin America on February 18th.

Both of the new hires will report to Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing Cammie Dunaway, who had this to say about the two:

"Denise and Bill bring a wealth of branding and marketing experience to our team. Their expertise will help us keep Nintendo’s momentum going strong throughout 2008 and beyond."
