Rockstar Announces L.A. Noire

Today, Rockstar Games announced they will be partnering with Team Bondi Pty Ltd to publish L.A. Noire, a next-generation crime thriller. The game is an interactive detective story, set in the classic noir period of the late 1940’s . Set in a perfectly recreated Los Angeles, L.A. Noire will give players an open-ended experience as they try to solve a series of gruesome murders.

Brendan McNamara (The Getaway) will act as the Director of Development for L.A. Noire.

“Brendan and I have known each other for a long time, and to finally have the opportunity to work together on a game is exciting,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “The longstanding mutual respect and the combined experience between the two of us make this a great partnership,” added Brendan McNamara.

To go along with this announcement, Rockstar has created a teaser trailer for the new game, with the official trailer being released on October 5. Stay tuned to GamerNode.com in the future, as we bring you more on L.A. Noire when it’s available.
