16 songs revealed for Guitar Hero III

guitarheroiiiHoly heck, 16 more songs have revealed for Guitar Hero III! 7 of them will be master tracks while the other 9 will receive the cover treatment much like a band at a bar on a Friday night.

The new master tracks include bands like Aerosmith, Bloc Party, Disturbed, Matchbook Romance, Slipknot, Sonic Youth and The Killers. As for covers, notable bands include Cream, Dead Kennedys, The Who and White Zombie.

With these new tracks, the setlist for Guitar Hero III encompasses over 60 songs. Guitar Hero III will launch for PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii on October 28th and for PC and Mac later this year. Neversoft will handle the Xbox 360 and PS3 editions, Budcat will work on the PS2 edition, Vicarious Visions will crank out the Wii edition and Aspyr Media will handle the PC and Mac edition.
