Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim code deciphered and enemy named

elder scrolls skyrim

The code has been cracked! With the beginning of Game Informer and Bethesda Softwork’s roll-out of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim details today, the magazine’s website posted a message as seen on the back cover of the magazine. Unfortunately, it’s in Dragon.

However, with the help of a handy guide below the message and the Skyrim announcement trailer, GamerNode has deciphered the two-part text revealing what sounds like a cryptic prayer mentioning the name of the big bad guy from the upcoming title.

"Dragonborn, Dragonborn, by his honor is sworn to keep evil forever at bay. And the fiercest foes rout when they hear triumph’s shout. Dragonborn, for your blessing we pray."

"And the scrolls have fortold of black wings in the cold that when brothers wage war come unfurled Alduin, Bane of Kings, ancient shadow unbound with a hunger to swallow the world."

Let the hype building commence.
