MTV launches 345 Games

MTV Networks Entertainment Group today announced they will be starting a new videogame publisher called 345 Games.

The publisher will create games for television shows from Comedy Central and Spike TV, of which there are currently two: Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon and Deadliest Warrior: Legends.

The former is a "four player co-op side scroller shooter" based on the Comedy Central show of the same name. It will feature a story scribed by the show’s writers and voiced by the its actors.

Deadliest Warrior: Legends is a fighter that will "put gamers back in the battlefield with the most legendary warriors in history." The game pulls from Spike TV’s show "The Deadliest Warrior", which pits two combatants from different historical eras against one another to see who will be victorious.

Both of the games will be launched this summer on the Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network. They will cost $10 each.
