Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete coming in October

Grand Theft Auto IV

Listings have showed up for Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete on both the 360 and PS3. According to retailers the rerelease will include Grand Theft Auto IV and the two downloadable episodes, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Set for an October 26th release date, the content will cost a very reasonable $40.

If you passed up GTAIV and/or the DLC then this is a pretty fantastic deal. Both episodes still cost $20 a piece on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and finding a copy of the original game will set you back another $20 or so. Rockstar has given no official word yet, but it would be safe to assume that this new edition is indeed real.

My first experience playing a video game blew me away. The fact that Super Metroid was that game certainly helped. So I like to think Samus put me on the path to video games. Well, I guess my parents buying the SNES had a little something to do with it. Ever since then my passion for video games has grown. When I found that I could put words together into a coherent sentence, videogame journalism was a natural interest. Now I spend a large majority of my time either playing video games or writing about them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
