Cheapskating: New release deals on Tomb Raider, SimCity, and Crysis 3

Tomb Raider

Today’s Cheapskating features 42 top-notch deals.

Crysis 3 is already down to $39.99 at Gamestop for the PC download, Xbox 360 and PS3. This is after Origin discounted it to $41.99 earlier this week, and now Amazon is price matching. The game only released 2 weeks ago (Feb 19th). That’s an impressive drop on a AAA title averaging an 8/10 rating on nearly all review sites.

SimCity just released two days ago, and it’s already got a solid $12 coupon discount at GameFly – a pretty hot offer on a highly anticipated city builder. Reviews are mixed due to bug related issues, but otherwise a worthy successor to the series.

Tomb Raider also launched on Tuesday of this week. Green Man Gaming has the PC download version 20% off after coupon. Reviews are stronger on this game than other recently released titles, achieving a 4.5/5 star rating on Amazon, 86/100 on Metacritic, and a 9.1/10 on IGN.

Humble Bundle has a new pay-what-you-want bundle with six games playable not only on PC but also on Android OS. BundleStars also released their fourth bundle, “Fire and Ice”, which includes ten downloads for $4.92 at time of writing.
