Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall DLC revealed

Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall

Bethesda announced brand new DLC for Dishonored in a press release earlier today. Titled “The Knife of Dunwall,” the new content will allow players to take on the role of Daud.

Daud is the assassin who killed the empress in the original game. In “The Knife of Dunwall,” the new protagonist seeks redemption for his past wrongs and receives aid from the Outsider. Delilah will also play a part in the story, but as the press release asks, “who – or what – is Delilah?”

Daud has his own arsenal of weapons, gadgets, and supernatural abilities, so it seems like the actual mechanics of the game will change a bit in the upcoming DLC. In addition, the new lead character will be joined by the Whalers – a group of loyal mercenary assassins – as players search “never-before-seen districts of Dunwall” and “face off against new and terrible foes.”

“The Knife of Dunwall” will be available worldwide on April 16 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC for $9.99 (800 MS points).

My first experience playing a video game blew me away. The fact that Super Metroid was that game certainly helped. So I like to think Samus put me on the path to video games. Well, I guess my parents buying the SNES had a little something to do with it. Ever since then my passion for video games has grown. When I found that I could put words together into a coherent sentence, videogame journalism was a natural interest. Now I spend a large majority of my time either playing video games or writing about them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
