Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed during an interview in this week’s issue of Dengeki Playstation that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will not be at Tokyo Game Show this year in any form. Nomura also confirmed however that he has set a time for his next showing of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, he just hasn’t revealed exactly when that is.
This news should not come as a huge shock as we reported that the game was still not in full production as of last month.
Regardless, there is still a chance that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be present at the show in some way if the past is any indication. It has been shown at the last two TGS events even after Nomura had suggested it would not be present.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII was first revealed at E3 2006, over five years ago. Nomura has slowly revealed details for the PS3 exclusive ever since so hopefully the full game is worth the wait.
