Official (unofficial) Crysis minimum requirements

crysisSo there’s a PC game coming out in November called Crysis, you may have heard of it? In-between the tears and the hugging of PCs that’ll surely be pushed to the limit on November 16th, no one has really known about the game’s system requirements. Sure, the graphics look utterly insane but will the performance match up?

On inCrysis, they have the official (unofficial) minimum system requirements for Crysis. Wait, official (unofficial)? Yep, while EA themselves released the official minimum system requirements earlier today, they later released a statement saying, "these system requirements were released by accident and are not an indication of the final minimum requirements for Crysis." Great, but hey, it’s better than knowing nothing!

CPU: Intel P4 2.8Ghz or AMD equivalent
RAM: 1GB
Video Card: 6800GT (256mb) or ATI/AMD Radeon 9800 Pro (256mb)
HDD Space: 16GB
OS: Microsoft Windows
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible

16 GB?! Wow; thankfully games are adapting to DVDs, I wonder how many CDs the game would’ve taken up; Far Cry is 4 GB and took up 5 CDs, for the record.
