Stranglehold on PS3 delayed but good news coming

John Woo's StrangleholdIt seems that one of the more highly regarded and much-anticipated PS3 games will be coming out a bit later than expected.

The game will be missing its previously slated launch date by three weeks — coming out on September 17th rather than August 27th (which both the Xbox 360 and PC versions are expected to be on store shelves). It’s certainly a shame to hear this seeing the way so many of the PS3 games, that consumers are waiting for, seem to be constantly delayed.

The good news? The PS3 version will come bundled with an high-def version of the movie "Hard Boiled", (for an extra 10 bucks, that is) which the game is loosely based off of. The not so good news? The PS3 version will be regionally locked. Bah.

Expect demos in early August for the 360 and the PC. No official demo date has been given for the Playstation Store.
