Gametap goes global

GametapAccording to Gametap VP Ric Sanchez, the company plans to expand into the global market in early 2008. The international version will remain in English.

The Turner Broadcasting -owned digital distribution service has been, up to this point, only available in the United States and Canada, and offers it’s subscribers access to a large library of old and new PC titles from many different publishers. Also available is a healthy selection of old school console titles, via emulated Atari and Sega systems, among others.

While the cost of the service in these regions starts at 9.99 USD per month, international pricing has not yet been revealed. GamerNode will have more information as it arises.
